Middle school is a great time for students to begin thinking about their interests and exploring future possibilities. They don’t have to choose a career yet, but they can start discovering what they enjoy and what paths might be out there.
This month’s Tiger Talks focuses on helping students and families begin simple conversations about career exploration and future planning.
Inside this month’s topic, you’ll find:

Even small conversations now can help students begin building confidence about their future.

Because of your generosity and support, we were able to continue our locker room entrance remodel projects and fully renovate our weight room — something that honestly didn’t seem possible at the start of the year.
A huge thank you to Coach Dennis and the Benton High Booster Club for stepping up to split the cost of the new flooring, allowing us to move forward and complete the space.
We’re also incredibly grateful to Mr. Josh Burroughs and his outstanding crew for repainting the ceiling, walls, and weight racks. This was no small project, and there’s no way it would have been finished without their hard work and dedication.
And thank you to Bossier Parish Schools for donating all 70 gallons of paint that helped bring this vision to life.
We are truly blessed to be part of such a supportive community here in Benton and Bossier Parish. I’m personally grateful to be part of a program filled with people who are willing to serve, give back, and invest in our student-athletes.
Last week, Josh stopped by while the boys were lifting with the high school coaches in the newly remodeled weight room. He shared a quick message about community and service, and we were able to grab a photo together. Moments like that are powerful reminders of what makes this program special.
Thank you again for believing in our athletes and investing in their future. The hard work is paying off, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
