Keeping kids fed over the summer costs a pretty penny, but Bossier Schools is coming to the rescue with FREE, nutritious meal boxes – and there are no income restrictions!
Starting Tuesday, May 26, any child age 18 and under is eligible for nutritious meal boxes at four drive-through pickup sites: Benton Middle, W.T. Lewis Elementary, Haughton Middle and Parkway High.
Each box includes 7 shelf stable breakfasts & lunches (no refrigeration or heating needed)
This USDA Summer Food Service Program is completely FREE
Curbside pickups are from 7-11 a.m. every Tuesday, May 26-June 23 and July 7-July 28.

Over the last two days, we saw toughness, effort, and a lot of competitiveness. We’re excited about the standard this group is already setting.
A huge thank you to every athlete who came out and competed during tryouts. We’re proud of every girl who stepped on the field these last two days.
Congratulations to these 20 athletes. Now it’s time to get to work.
Be on the lookout for information coming soon regarding our kickoff parent meeting on Thursday.

Benton High Cross Country tryouts will be held May 13 from 4:00–5:00 PM at the BHS Track. Athletes will run 1.5 miles (6 laps) with the following time standards:
• Boys: 12:00 or faster
• Girls: 13:30 or faster
⚠️ Important: All athletes MUST complete the registration form before tryouts. Students who are not registered will not be permitted to try out.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Due to a temporary water outage affecting the Town of Benton over the weekend, we have been placed under a boil advisory through Monday, which is a standard safety precaution after a loss of water pressure.
To help ensure students stay hydrated, we are asking that students bring bottled water from home if possible.
