The first day of school is right around the corner, and we want to make sure you and your student feel confident, informed, and READY! 💜

📍1st Day Procedures:
– Homeroom rosters will be posted at the bus ramp and cafeteria📝
– Students should report directly to their homeroom (skip the gym!)
– Staff will be in the hallways to help guide students to the right place
– Paper schedules will be handed out during homeroom
🚗Carline Details:
– Drop-off begins at 7:15 AM
– Follow the correct route by entering on Rubicon Road and at the BMS entrance
– Use the designated drop-off zones only
– If you’re dropping off for both BMS & BIS, follow the BMS line
As always, we kindly ask for your patience and grace—the first day always comes with a few bumps as everyone learns the flow. We promise to be out there helping every step of the way!

• Shop limited-supply spirit items, school supply packs, and yard signs

Say hello to Mr. Cole Louison, one of our amazing new 8th grade math teachers here at BMS! 📚✏️
Originally from Indiana, Mr. Louison has been married for two years and now lives in Bossier City with his dog, Pink . He’s kicking off his second year of teaching, and says his favorite part of the job is “watching students grow each day!”
When asked what he’s most excited about as a BMS Tiger, he shared:

📵 Technology Policy — Phones must stay powered off and in backpacks all day.
🪪 Student IDs — New this year! IDs are required and must be worn daily.

🪪Daily ID wear is required for all BMS students while on campus.
🟣Students will receive IDs and clips during the first week of school and must be clipped on the front right chest area—not on backpacks or pockets.
🟡Lanyards are optional and must be in school-approved colors: purple, yellow, white, gray, or navy.
🚫No breakaway or retractable styles allowed.
🐯 BMS lanyards will be sold at Back to School Night and throughout the year!
